Mission

The mission of the Key Centre for Biodiversity and Bioresources is to rapidly increase knowledge of the unique biological diversity of Australia and develop innovative technologies in -

  • rapid biodiversity assessment
  • natural resource management
  • conservation evaluation
  • environmental monitoring
  • impact assessment
  • exploration for new biological resources
  • to provide educational programs for the transfer of these technologies to end-users and commercial partners.
